Committed to Resource Efficiency Practices and Environmentally Friendly End of Life Solutions for obsolete computers and other office equipment, GeekTech Labs is a service available to residents, businesses and Government Departments in Canberra and the surrounding region to dispose of unwanted, old and unused computers and peripherals in a safe and environmentally responsible way.

GeekTech Labs provide End-of-Life and End-of-Use solutions for computer, office and telecommunications equipment through environmentally innovative refurbishment, remarketing and recycling – a total service company.

After Drop off Computers that are reusable are tested, refurbished and sold to businesses and/or donated to charity. Other equipment is disassembled into its parts (plastic, precious metals, batteries, printed circuit boards, insulated wiring) and sent off to various parts of Australia and the world for recovery and recycling.

GeekTech Labs complies with all relevant state and federal laws on the processing and disposal of hazardous waste generated from its recycling operations.

We are committed to a 100% No Land-fill policy.
GeekTech Labs provide the following technology recycling services:
• dismantle and recover components into recyclable resource streams
• forward the recovered resource streams through to approved specialist recyclers
• data sanitization of equipment recycled (on request)
• provide goodwill for clients, through ensuring their equipment is not sent to landfill
